Here is the new Onager for 2009
As you can see, the bundle is much wider. Unfortunately we never got to demonstrate just how far it could throw as our winching system developed problems after the first throw. We'll have to wait until next year!
Team Ethos took first place in the Torsion division this year - quite a come-back from their implosion of last year.
This is a very nicely built, high-tech catapult.
This machine looks quite a bit different than most of the other torsion machines.
Here you can see the unique rope bundle - it helps to insure each strand is pulling with the exact same force.
They threw close to 2,100 feet!
